Mobile Data Plugin
The Locale Mobile Data Plugin adds a new condition and setting to Locale for Android.
The condition allows users to define a threshold for data use via their mobile networks. When the threshold is reached, the condition activates and Locale responds with whatever action the user has configured.
The setting allows users to disable mobile data features of your phone. When mobile data is set to off/disabled, data traffic will be blocked until the setting is reverted. Note: Prior to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) traffic will be blocked and the data radio will be powered off – saving precious battery. Beginning with Android 2.3, apps can no longer control the data radio, however data traffic is still blocked.
The condition and setting can be used independently or together. When used together users can define situations which will stop data use when a threshold/limit is reached.
You can find the Locale Mobile Data Plugin on the Android Marketplace.
This plugin has been verified to work with Tasker.
